Marketing Coordinator

Purpose:

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to function as a Marketing Professional.

A Marketing Coordinator provides a professional support role to marketing team members and executives by undertaking administrative / leadership tasks and coordinating key deliverables to ensure that a company meets its strategic marketing objectives.

A qualified learner will be able to:

  • Manage key deliverables of products and services to (a) target market(s).
  • Support the deliverables across the full spectrum of communication activities and channels.
  • Manage marketing and sales activities across the marketing mix.
  • Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activities.
  • Undertake and lead the administrative tasks related to marketing metrics for the processing of payments.

Entry Requirement

  1.  Certified copy of ID / Passport
  2. Certified copy of Grade 12 or any completed NQF Level 4 certificate
  3. Signed PoPI agreement
  4. Online completed Application

Recognition of Prior Learning 

 EPTS allows students to access the qualification through recognition of prior learning (RPL), who do not meet the minimum entry requirements:

  1. Certified copy of ID / Passport
  2. 5 Years of Experience in Marketing and a formal letter from the employer confirming the relevant required experience in Marketing etc.
  3. Detailed CV
  4. Signed PoPI agreement
  5. Online completed RPL application
  6. Proof of payment for RPL Fee: R 1,200 + R500 first time application fee.

Note: Make sure to pay R 1,200 + R 500= R1,700 fee with the online application, use your full name as a reference.

 

Duration

 30 Months part-time including Workplace Learning Experience.

The application fee (R500) is not part of the module registration. Once a student is accepted in the programme / qualification with the student number, the next step will be to register the modules individually as signed in the payment plan with the main application. The relevant details will be communicated by the admission department after an applicant is accepted in the relevant programme / qualification.
