Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

WNL Network Training Academy is pleased to introduce the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme for individuals aspiring to become qualified life coaches. Our academy is committed to fostering excellence in coaching and mentoring, empowering individuals to make meaningful impacts in their professional and personal spheres.

Requirements for RPL

To ensure the highest standards of competence and professionalism, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Certified Copy of ID/Passport: Submission of a certified copy of your identification document or passport is mandatory for verification purposes.

2. Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Applicants must possess a minimum of five years of practical experience in coaching/mentoring. A formal letter from the current or previous employer confirming this experience is required.

3. Detailed CV: A comprehensive curriculum vitae (CV) outlining professional experience, qualifications, and three references must be provided.

4. Proof of Informal Training: Certified copies of all the informal training certificates in coaching with the summary of the topics/subjects covered.
5. Signed PoPI Agreement:(Download here) required to sign the Protection of Personal Information (PoPI) agreement, demonstrating consent for the handling of personal data in accordance with regulatory standards.

6. Online Completed RPL Application: The RPL application form must be completed online, providing all necessary details and documentation as outlined in the application process.

7. Proof of Payment for RPL Fee: A non-refundable RPL fee of R 3900, along with a first-time application fee of R 300, totaling R 4,200, must be paid with the online application. Applicants are advised to include their full name as a reference when making the payment.

Additional Notes:

• All requirements must be met and documentation provided to be considered eligible for qualification.
• The RPL fee and first-time application fee should be submitted together with the online application to facilitate the processing of your application.
• All applicants will be required to appear for an online interview and attempt the Internal Summative Assessment as part of the RPL process.

Note: We recommend that all qualified life coaches register with the relevant professional body after the completion of this course. This course is offered nationally and internationally in partnership with the World Class Coach organisation. In the below fee structure, the professional body membership fee is not included.
