Introduction:

Welcome to the WNL Network Training Academy’s accredited Adolescent Health Support Counselling Skills Training Programme, specialized in equipping individuals with essential counselling skills to support adolescents in various settings.

This course is aimed at both new entrants as well as learners who are already working in counselling environments, which include but are not limited to, parents, educational facilities, faith communities, health communities, the criminal justice system as well as the youth and the elderly. The qualification will provide learners with knowledge and skills that will enable them to apply counselling techniques to facilitate and enhance adolescent well-being.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Counselling Skills Training Programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. South African Citizenship: Candidates must be South African citizens.
2. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a minimum of an NQF Level 5 qualification or its equivalent, in the relevant field.
3. Age: 30 – 50 years of age
4. Must have a Laptop / PC and access to internet connectivity.

Credits and Qualifications:

Additionally, we would like to highlight that the credits achieved in this course may accumulate toward an Occupational Qualification in Social Counselling Worker. This qualification can serve as a stepping stone for those who aspire to become registered Holistic Counsellors in the future. This programme offers a foundation for further professional development in the counselling field.
